It is indeed still a team sport (though you can have a superstar who thinks they are above the team concept, which hurts the team). Hopefully she remains like this for whatever she decides to do in the future.

You can have a bunch of superstars, but if you don’t play as a team, you won’t go places – Witness the New York Yankees – over the past decade. All those superstars and only one World Championship.

It appears as a good thing that she hasn’t let all this success go to her head. Baseball would be the poorer for it if she did.
