Photo Blogging Challenge (June 2024): I get around

And as much as I’d love to sing, no this isn’t the Beach Boys song!

Life and getting around changes over time. While I don’t mind traveling and the like, the reality is I do a lot of things with Harper in mind. And more if she can go with me and enjoy it!

So yes, this post is much like others in the past.

Where do I get around? A lot is walking, some exploring, and anything where I might be able to involved Harper.

I realize there are a lot of things where dogs aren’t able to be part of things. And I understand it. But, that also means that I will often change up my own way of getting around to make sure I am not letting her out.

Dogs are only with us for so long … so I try and give her the best experiences and life possible.

Anyway, I’m late enough as it is this month. So I’ll quit babbling! Here are my five for June!

1. Photo shoot

Harper doesn’t always let me take photos of her in a posed way. So when I see something I really want to get her in, it takes treats. This one took a while to get her how I wanted her, but eventually she did and I love how it came out.

2. Mental well being

You have to take care of yourself in this world. I’ve been trying to go to the barber every couple of weeks. Every four weeks it’s the haircut and beard trim. The middle stop is just a beard trim. It’s good to put yourself in a spot where you can let your own mind have a good moment.

3. Warm weather

Warm weather means water! This was at the river and I hope to do some dock diving this summer as well.

4. Baseball

I still love going to baseball games, but especially with Harper. And I love that I found a compact scorebook that I can use when I go to games with her!

5. And they run by…

A local road race was held at the beginning of the month. Harper got a stick to chew on while she watched some.

BONUS FOR THE MONTH

I couldn’t resist one more. Me and Harper with the mascots at a minor league baseball game!
